A long ways from home.

This little guy cracked me up! We were walking down the sidewalk back to our cool van w/ our fish & chips takeaway... & he comes cruising by on his razor (scooter), drops it at the base of the tree & starts climbing up the tree! I said to Scott, that's a young Scott McNeff...A little monkey- into everything!!! Lol!



I also have been utterly shocked by the number of times we have seen a parent leave a small child alone in a car buckled into a car seat... Yesterday Scott visited w/ a little lady maybe 4yrs old that was parked next to us, while Gram went into the big grocery store (quickly).
I do miss a lot about home, but would love the idea of living in a place that it would be safe to do this - In the US you'd be arrested & child removed from your custody or your worse the child would be kidnapped first!!! It feels very "different" here when we see these things.

DAD- you'd be pleased to know however, they appear to abide by your 5 P's even here. (saw this on the wall at the fish & chips shop!)
