R&R's....

After a long rainy day of travel, from the east to west coast, we arrive at Rachel & Rosemary's in Inglewood. Fantastic hostesses they prepare us a delish meal paired w/ tons of laughter ( to follow throughout the following days)...



Scott's fellow falconer pal (& perhaps sister from another life) not kidding these 2 bird nerds share a brain I swear-- Simone, (aka. The hobo) is here from Seattle visiting NZ for 6 wks on a major bird watching adventure.




Sunday a.m.
We start the day w/ a quick morning trip to Mt. Taranaki, literally in their backyard!! This is the view from the end of their driveway!! It is about 2000' higher than Mt Washington! It has snow in winter, but surrounded by surf beaches- so you can ski in the am & surf in the afternoon if you wanted!!
